The Board of Directors of the Jafaria Endowment Charitable Council of Dubai was established by an official decree issued by His Highness the late Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum - may God have mercy on him - Ruler of Dubai on 12/27/1971.

Since that date, the Board has begun managing religious and endowment facilities and paying attention to religious affairs.
